Steps to use and install AI extensions in AppInventor.

Normally each month a set of all the AI extensions that are available on Sciblock will be released. These have a demo license that covers the entire month that is current or in progress. Normally it is a license with an average duration of 30 days.

At the end of this validity period, if the user wishes to continue testing any extension, they will have to download the current extension for the following month or, if applicable, if they are convinced to be applied to a project, they have the option of paying for annual licensing. This payment is intended for support and creation of new extensions in various areas.

The installation steps are simple and easy to apply:

1.- First you must go to the official GitHub site where all the extensions available for use are found. You can refer to the following link:

Click Download demo Extensions.

2.- On the official GitHub site you must select the extension to use and choose to download it to your local device that you are using.

3.- When you download the selected extension you will have a file in ZIP type compressed format, this is the extension included and if applicable you will also have the dataset to run the example that comes with the extension in .aix ending format

4.- You have to unzip the file with the WinZip tool or another similar one depending on the operating system you are using.

5.- Once you have the .aix extension files and the datasets (if applicable) they will have to be installed in the MIT AppInventor tool. If this is your first time using AppInventor, we recommend that you watch some introductory video for use on social networks. There are a variety of them that are easy to find just by referring to AppInventor.

6.- If you are new to using AppInventor, no problem, you will realize that it is a very easy to understand visual tool. If it is the first time you will have to create an account on the official site:

7.- Once inside the AppInventor application you go to the bottom left side of the Palette, below you will see in the last option of the menu the word «Extension» there you click on it and an option will appear where it says «Import extension» you click on it and a window will open where you will choose the option «From my computer» you will have to say where your extension is on your computer that you want to use, you select it and then you have to Click on the button where it says «Import» after a few seconds the extension should appear at the bottom left to be used.
